October 2026
From the Bishops Desk,
September was a very full month as we kicked-off with paying our deepest of respects to a General in the Faith Bill Carter, his Military Honors Service certainly raised the goosebumps, a man who defended his Country and his Faith. While on the westside we ministered in Gateway Tacoma and enjoyed their tailgate fellowship after church. Pastor Nate of Crosspointe in Covington is also serving as the Executive Director of Renton Family First Community Center, this facility is amazing, Pastor Nate and family gave us a first class tour, we are so proud of the work they are doing in both places Crosspointe and Family First Community Center, check it out at www.familyfirstrenton.org
It’s our honor to welcome David Maxey (Ordained) and Tom Parks (Exhorter) as new ministers into the PNW, we are growing and speaking of growing we kicked-off with 36 students in AIM! Some of these have already expressed their desire to be credentialed with the PCG! We have a great harvest and we are praying the Lord of the harvest to thrust forth laborers into His field! We have tremendous opportunities all across the PNW, we have several churches that will be transitioning to new pastoral leadership within the next decade and that is why we must stay on this course of making disciples that will make disciples, recruiting new ministers, training amid sending into this fruitful harvest!
To all those who are feeling the call to Pastor, we have such great opportunities, all it will take is being sent, Holy Spirit led, step up and launch. We are looking for people who are willing to go, show up and love their community. Simply relocate, get a job, buy a home and a Cemetery plot, love God and love people! Many of our churches are debt free and with nice facilities! Get ready, get ready, get ready! Beyond our current existing locations, we have many places in need of a church plant, I’m so excited to see us planting churches in the PNW! I would love to see us plant at least 10 churches in the next 10 years! Is that a tall order, of course it is but we have a mandate, a big God providing Holy Ghost enablement!
What a great privilege to be present for the Skidmore’s (Curtis and Wanda) 70th wedding anniversary! What a powerhouse couple with a wonderful legacy of faith and fruitfulness. Children Marty and LaLoni did an excellent job of honoring their parents/pastors!
Women’s Conference was a tremendous success again this year, check out their testimonies (I’m wise enough not to steal their thunder)! A huge thankyou to my amazing wife for leading, coordinating, and orchestrating another great Conference! Tammy Smith and Pam Umphenour knocked it out of the park, WOW! A big thank you to Jeanette Hicks for the great work of publishing this on Facebook, check it out at PNW PCG Ministers.
Last but not least we ministered at Family Worship Center’s Family Camp celebrating The Feast of Tabernacles. Our God has appointed times where He desires to meet with us, reveal Himself to us, providing for us these times to know Him intimately, progressively, and effectually!
I trust all had a wonderful September Impacting Eternity, please send us your stories. May we celebrate together the many salvations and baptisms all across the great PNW!
I am now headed for Man Camp out on the North Fork of the Clearwater, please pray for this Band of Brothers!
